The products
SCHÖNOX Q2, SCHÖNOX Q6, SCHÖNOX Q8, SCHÖNOX Q20 HYBRID and SCHÖNOX SFK have
been optimized to reduce the consumption of cement by using a new binder
concept with lower impact on natural resources and climate.
These
products meet a special sustainability evaluation (SPM Assessment). Sustainability
Portfolio Management (SPM) is the mechanism used by Sika to evaluate and
classify its products in defined market segments in terms of both performance
and sustainability. The objective of our Sustainability Portfolio Management
(SPM) concept is to manage innovation and sustainability, minimizing the risks
and maximizing the opportunities of products and product portfolios.
Some of the
new formulations have already been successfully in the markets for a couple of
months.
